The Blacksmiths can offer you a unique wedding venue for either the entire wedding including the service or just the Wedding Breakfast. Clayworth village is home to St Peter’s Church a stunning little church home to the ‘Traquair Murals’ ideal if you are wanting to keep to a traditional wedding and celebrate with us afterwards. Whether it be a small intimate affair or a larger event, the whole venue can be hired for up to 70 guests for the service and from 10-120 guests for the Wedding Breakfast.

The food at the Blacksmiths has gained recognition for the outstanding quality it produces using fresh seasonal ingredients and distinctly local flavours by being awarded an AA 2* Rosette. Menus are themed to suit your wants and needs.

We have 4 unique and bespoke rooms which have been awarded a AA 5* Gold Award, ideal for the bridal party and/or guests to stay in the night before and on your special day, making the event as relaxing and hassle free as possible.

The Blacksmiths is situated by the Chesterfield Canal on the Yorkshire/Nottinghamshire border offering beautiful locations for unique photographs.
