Llancaiach Fawr Manor is steeped in history and is a unique and natural setting for a romantic and memorable day. Originally built c.1550 the Manor has been restored as it was in 1645 when King Charles I visited the owner Colonel Pritchard. Located in the heart of the picturesque South Wales Valleys its secluded and peaceful setting is the ideal location for a wedding.
The attractive formal gardens are lovely for a champagne and canapé reception in the summer months or for those treasured family photographs.
There are several functions suites available, the Conservatory Restaurant can seat up to 90 guests for a ceremony or a sumptuous Wedding Breakfast and has panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. Mansell Hall the largest function suite at Llancaiach Fawr Manor can comfortable seat up to 120 with room for a dance floor, it is decorated in neutral colours with high ceilings which give the room a light airy feel.
Within the Manor House itself The Great Hall of the Manor is the perfect setting for an atmospheric candlelit ceremony for up to 50 guests or the oak panelled Parlour is ideal for an intimate ceremony with up to 30 close friends and family. Receptions for larger gatherings can be held in a luxurious elegant marquee sited on the tree-lined meadow.
